Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) is encouraging Jakartans to participate in the Bulan Tertib Trotoar (Months of Orderly Sidewalk) that will started on Tuesday (8/1) until one month ahead.

"If they (residents) refuse to participate, we don't know when we can arrange Jakarta as the Capital City," expressed Abraham Lunggana, Vice Chairman of Jakarta DPRD, Monday (7/31). 

The man popularly called Haji Lulung appreciates Jakarta Provincial Government, which wants to restore the function of the sidewalk through Months of Orderly Sidewalk.

"Residents must be made aware of the sidewalk function. Motorcyclist should not misuse the right of pedestrians," he uttered.

Nevertheless, he warns the officers to crack down street vendor (PKL) and illegal parking humanly.
